I can't wait to change my last name..even though I LOVE MY LAST name, i cannot wait to take FH last name. I will be going from a FRENCH last name to an IRISH last name! ha

FH's last name starts with an X and no one can ever pronounce it right. He's maltese so people always find it interesting when you tell them where he is from. I am excited to change it and at least it will be something different! I think it sounds better with my full name, Katherine, rather than Katie which is what everyone calls me. And I have a really irish last name too!

I am going from a nice short 4 letter last name to a 9 letter one that people never pronounce right. I am the last one with my dad's name too since he never had any other children and his brother never had kids. It's going to be weird adjusting to my new name.

I love my last name, but FH's last name is awesome!!!!! I am Irish and German and all of a sudden I have this very Italian, tough last name. I feel so Sopranos

I like the way it sounds, but I will have the same exact name as my future sister-in-law, so I've been hearing it for 2 years already!

How funny - I have a Polish name and my fiancée’s last name is a double whammy Spanish (meaning 2 names with a hyphen)... so how weird to have a Polish girl with a Spanish last name! But I certainly can't hyphenate (since his is already) so I'm staying with mine.

I like my last name, but my FH's last name is alright...so I am not upset. I am only upset because my initials are changing from TLC to TLS....I love my initials!

I think changing my name is the hardest thing IM going to do, it identifies my nationality, and his last name is so blahhhh! i just feel that i will be losing something im so proud of
