William Sonoma Registry - don't do what I did and ruin the surprises!

If anyone is registered at William Sonoma...be careful when you are in the manage/edit view on your registry....there is an option that says 'Thank You Note Manager' - I clicked on this yesterday just out of curiosity to see what it was and it lists everything that's been purchased from your registry and who bought it! My registry there is small so it was a small list and I sort of saw it all. So beware...unless you hate surprises! I like them and am bummed that I clicked on this!

I also received a shower gift from there yesterday in the mail from someone who can't make it to my shower and they included a gift receipt but left the prices on everything which I thought was sort of rude. I'm writing an email to complain...when I send a gift to someone and check off that it's a gift - I like to believe they are taking the prices off! I've had other problems with their registry and am just very annoyed with them.

ohhh wow thank you for advice... I was planning on registering with them for all my baking items! I absolutely love Williams Sonoma I am very dissapointed to hear these things...

The other annoying thing....I registered for some every day drinking glasses from there. The sku number for the glasses online must be a little off from the sku number in the store...so when I saw this list of people who bought me things...I saw that 3 different people bought me these glasses. I requested 12 so I am getting 36! I'll have some returning to do but I will feel bad at my shower for those people when I open their gift and they see I already got it from someone else. The point of registries is so that you don't get doubles...I'm getting triples! And it said that I still needed those glasses even though people had bought them. It said I requested 12 and had 0! So I ended up removing it from my registry so I didn't get anymore! Really annoying!
