My fiance and I booked windows on the lake for our nov 2009 wedding. i booked it on the basis Ive heard a few good things about it, but I could get my deposit back if I decide to change our minds (in writting) anyone have any opinions?

You have to read your contract and see what is says- I know if we cancel they keep everything we have put down unless they can get someone else in our date and then they only give back a percentage. its all up to the RH

I was booked there at first but the manager wrote on our contract that we could have our deposit back pending the food tasting. After we went to the food tasting we asked for our deposit back and they were very gracious about it. I would check your contract.

I went to a sweet 16 there many many years ago (like 10 yrs) and it was very nice... haven't heard much about it since though. I live right across the lake from it and it looks beautiful at night when there is a wedding goes on. Hope this helps a little
