Does anyone know where I could get a used wine barrel from? The first thing that logically comes to mind is a vineyard. Has anyone ever seen one in a store? I've looked on a bunch of sites and they are really expensive. I wanted to make a card box like the one below. I contact the person who made this, but she said she got the barrel at a flea market in FL. Any suggestions would be great!

I know they sell them at Osprey Dominion as well. They also sell half a barrel which might work for you too. I think half is $50 and a whole one is $100

Thanks, yea I guess I will just have to start calling places out east. I was hoping that a store would sell them for cheap, but I guess not. I know Michaels has half barrels, but it kind of loses the look, especially if someone walks around it, LOL.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. I'm not sure how easy it will be to find a small barrel. I think 3 feet is too big and high to place on a table.
