I read somewhere online of using wine crates as a CP with the bottles of wine as you're favors. Has anybody been to a wedding where they did this? Also, does anyone have any idea how I can make wine crates? TIA

I don't know how to make a wine crate BUT what you might want to do is go to your local wine seller. I am sure they dump crate after crate. Ask them if it is possible if they have extras, for you to take them or buy them for a few bucks. It might make your life a lot easier.
This article didn't meantion the wine bottles but it did give ideas for decorating the crate with ferns that you can work off of. Also using real or even the high quality palstic grapes to drape them over the sizes would look romantic. Add candles and voila. Also I once saw an idea with a candle made out of a wine bottle somewhere online.
