ok.. so just when I think I made up my mind.. I think about wine glasses, or flutes as favors with candies in then wrapped in tulle, with ribbon.... any ideas as to where I can get 130 glasses for a fairly decent price? anyone ever see this kind of favor??? :-)

Try the outlet stores. I haven't done it yey myself but my friend got Mikasa vases at a Mikasa outlet. I am assuming they have wime glasses there or at another outlet. Good Luck...that's a great idea for a favor!

Wine glasses as favors--HELP AGAIN!

That`s a great idea! I would try an outlet store - maybe Tanger Outlets out in Riverhead? I think that would be the only type of place where you could get that many glasses, and not break the bank!

Glasses - try Macy`s 4 for $15

My FSIL purchased painted wine glasses from Macy`s (advertised in most mailings). They come 4 to a set for $15. She has had some service problems with Macy`s (some were broken upon arrival so she had to ship them back, etc) but she now has all of them and they are really pretty.

Wine glasses as favors--HELP AGAIN!

I just saw a huge selection of some on sale at Peter Andrews in Huntington (Jericho Tpk). They were 6 for $10.00 for goblets and wine glasses and 6 for $20 for champagne flutes. They came in an assortment of colors (like blown glass).
