Wine of the Month?
Has anyone ever heard of this as a gift where they send the recipient a different wine every month for a year? If so, where? I know they have plenty of websites but, I want to order from somewhere reputable that others have heard of. THANKS IN ADVANCE :)

Re: Wine of the Month?
I've ordered gifts from Wine.com and never had any problems. I haven't tried a 'Wine of the Month' yet, but I'm sure it would be fine.

I used Pindar and highly reccomend them. They give a different wine every month .... a wine that goes along with the season or a holiday that month.
The wine bottles were really pretty and the wine itself was yummy!

Re: Wine of the Month?
We bought a wine of the month club from wine.com for a friend. Every month they got two bottles (one red, one white) from vineyards around the world. I can't remember if we did it for a full year or only 6 months.I think it was around $30/month, plus around $10/month for shipping.
They loved the gift, but they did say that it annoyed them that they always had to physically go to the post office to pick up the wine - it couldn't just be left at their house.

Re: Wine of the Month?
Wait, is that always the case? You have to go to the post office to pick it up?

One other thing too - you can't ship alcohol to some states, like here in Virginia.

Re: Wine of the Month?
wine.com's delivery policy is that someone over 21 has to sign for the wine - the post office isn't allowed to leave it without a signature. so, if nobody is home when they try to deliver, they leave one of those slips to come pick it up at the post office.Welcome New Vendors
