Wineries on East LI

Has anyone ever looked here for a wedding reception? Any feedback? My Dad says they are beautiful so we are going to take a look.
Any input would be great!

Yep, it was at Rahpeal, and their wine is really good

-the winery was rapheal, not the girl

I know the Vineyard Caterers out east is absolutely beautiful. the name of the town it's in is escaping me @ the moment--but I think someone on here is getting married there-

I live in Riverhead so I can be of some help.
Im getting married at the Vineyard Caterers in May of 2004. It is beautiful. They have great places for pictures, spot for ceremony (outside), deck for cocktails and nice dining room. The backdrop is the vineyard. Its the vineyard theme thing without the hassle of finding a tent, caterer, etc.
Raphael IS beautiful... but they want an OUTRAGEOUS fee for the site. I think for a May wedding for me it worked out to be 125 PP without tax and fees!!! The site fee goes up to I think 10000 for the harvest season!! The dining room is very very pretty! The only thing I didnt like is the room when you first walk in they have an open gift shop area... I dont think I would like to see that at my wedding.
There is also Woffler Estate in Sagaponack. I havent heard anything about that place though. Sorry.
There are some wineries that do weddings. I think this site is helpful. It tells you what wineries cater to weddingsWineries

Another vineyard that I absolutely love and good friends of mine got married at is Gristina/Gallucio. But you do have to deal with a tent although you can have cocktail hour in the front tasting room. If you are willing to brave the weather (not for the faint at heart) it would be BEAUTIFUL and very different.
