I recently posted about my recent hair trial and with so few people liking the style I thought I'd want to do, I'm now back to the drawing board.
With that said, I think I might want to go with a half up style... the only thing is, I don't think I have time for another trial. Are there any brides out there who had their hair done for their wedding without having done a trial first?

I didn't have a trial. I told her half up and that my hair doesn't hold a curl. I got so many compliments on it.

Re: 'Winging it' the day of the Wedding??
hope this is helpful...
my best friend had a trial with alldown curls, then the week of her wedding it was so hot that she decided to do an all up style.
she showed the styleist a pico Lauren Conrad, the stylist 'wong it' and she looked stunning.
i think as long as you trust that the stylist can do what you describe you don't need another trial

It doesn't matter if the people posting like the hair trial or not. All that matters is that you do. If you like the style that you had done then go with it. Don't do something else because people posted that they did not like it.

This!!! Do what you love!
Also, a friend of mine changed her mind about her the day of her wedding. She had trials with all of her hair up and then the day of she wanted half up half down and she hated it She got really upset, and the hairstylist tried to fix it, but still she was unhappy That definitely taught me to have a trial with the style you want. But just like Mara said, if you loved one of your hairstyles, and thats the look you want, go for it!

I went for a trial & had her do half up/half down & the day of if it is like last years labor day above 100 then I'm just having her put it up.. I'm making sure to bring pictures with me the day of. I trust her so I'm willing to wing it.

I never had a trial...I loved her work from what I have seen. I shoed her pics of makeup and hairstyles I liked, She pulled it off. I loved the way I looked.

I had a trial but the 3 days before my wedding, my salon called to say my hair stylist had gone home sick. I was like 'Okayyyyyyyyyy.....?' She went home to IRELAND. Anyway, they offered me a free trial with another stylist but I said nay, didn't have time, so I just went with it on the day of. She did an awesome job (even better than the trial, IMO!) and all was right. This was my usual salon though so I know and trust them all. HTH!

For my trial, I did only styles with my hair all up b/c i thought for a july wedding, i would definitely want my hair all up. but after seeing the pics, i just don't like it and i think i want to do half up... but i just don't have time for another trial. i've been gathering tons of photos... my only big concern is that since my hair is so thin, will the comb that holds my veil have enough hair to keep it put all night (I'll have extensions, but i'm still concerned).

I had a trial for an updo but not for half up half down. I'm going to 'wing' it the day of the wedding.
