I called WCC a few months ago and spoke to a woman named Pat. She can help you determine what time to go for pictures. As for the tipping, I will have an envelope for the Matre D and bridal attendant and will give it to them that night after the wedding....not sure how much. I guess $50.00 for bridal attendent and $1-2 a person for Matre D. Does that sound about right? Call WCC and ask for Pat-tell her that you were working originally with Ed. There's also a guy named Peter and I think Andrew. I guess it doesn't matter who you chose....the next time we'll need to see them is for the menu. Good luck!

I think we've spoken to Pat over the phone to make a payment in January. So I guess we will call her. Is $50 enough for the bridal attendant or is it too much? What is she suppose to help us with? Have you and your FH looked at the menu options? Have you decided what you are gonna have during cocktail and reception? I've looked at soo many places before booking WCC and those other places have great menus but were charging much more than WCC was charging. When we went to WCC we asked if there was availibility for June 23rd and when he said yes, we said Yes and booked it right away. We had been there 6 mths ago but wanted to see other options so we had a estimate to how much they charged. We're so glad we found a place for our budget.

HI, We haven't looked at the menu since Ed showed us a sample menu LAST August! It's been a long time. The cocktail hour sounds amazing with all the passing dishes and stations. I know the guests have a choice of 4 dinner items that we choose. Oh-have you decided to do the Viennese or mini-viennese table? We are still deciding if we should do the extra desserts since the guests will have a dessert plus the wedding cake. Its expensive but we will probably do the mini-viennese.(they will bring 3 trays of desserts to each table). Have you decided when you are going to pick out the menu? I'd love to hear about it! I don't want the bridal attendent either, but I guess we don't have a choice. :-)

I think the mini-viennese will do since they are gonna have cake. My FH's sister told me that you don't want the guests to be too full where they won't be able to dance. WCC is providing the cake, are we supposed to go for a tasting for the cake? Do we get a choice of flavors or design? I'd like to know if they are gonna put flowers on the cake or the florist would have to. To tell you the truth, I feel like i'm spending so much money for this place and I still don't feel like i'm getting the answers I need. They should have someone call us to ask us if we have any questions instead of us calling them( and we don't have a contact person). I know that we will be meeting them 1 month before the wedding but it would put my mind at ease to have things done. On my contract, It didn't state that that we get intermezzo. Are you getting that? I know that they'll have appetizer, salad, entree, cake, dessert, and coffee/tea. But I never ask them about the inermezzo. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like I didn't ask enough questions. It's frustrating.

I totally agree. We have to be so proactive with this place. I don't know anything unless I call to ask. I don't know anything about the intermezzo, BUT you should make sure that the cordial cart (international coffees and dessert liquors) is free...I have that in my contract. If you don't mind me asking, how much are they charging you for the mini-viennese? I don't remember if it's $6.00 or $8.00 a person. When we originally booked, I didn't want it, but we decided now to do it. Thanks for the chats!

The price of the mini-viennese isn't in our contract because we didn't want it at the time we signed and don't even remembe what he quoted us for it. We still haven't decided 100% to have it or not. I know that the cordial cart is included and written in our contract. Was WCC the lowest price caterer you found? It was for us. We didn't expect it to be the least expensive place that we've looked at. The price and date were right. Are you going to have candles lit outside during cocktail hour and during the reception? I was thinking of it since my ceremony starts at 7pm and cocktail hour starts a 7:30pm. Do you know it they are providing the placement cards? I was wondering if we had to order them with our invitations so they matched. Thank YOU for taking time to chat with me. You don't know how much you've helped me. I'm so happy there is another WCC bride.
