I'm the MOH in my sister's wedding in February. I'm going to rent a stole for the day.

Re: Winter brides
I really want to do something for over my shoulders but I don't want it to look tacky or cheap and I don't know where to even start to look. Do you have any ideas??

Re: Winter brides
They have some pretty ideas on Etsy in the wedding section under shawls, stoles, etc...
I was thinking a faux fur wrap or stole...

Re: Winter brides
I am not a winter bride, but I was a bridesmaid in a winter wedding. Can I make a suggestion. If you are going to have strapless dresses and do any of your pics outside, get some sort of shawl or wrap as your gift to your bms.

I am going to do a faux fur shawl. My friend had one for her wedding and it looked really cute.

Re: Winter brides
I am wearing a pashmina. It is three ply, nice and thick. So soft and snuggly. I really don't like the way the furs feel on my neck, even when they are fake they give me goosbumps. The texture is so gross to me. My mother would love me to, but i can't. I think the pashmina's are so pretty anyway, you can find them online. I feel like no matter what I won't be warm. I have accepted that I will be strapless in Jan. I am going to steal DH's jacket at the end of the night.
