Did or will you primarily have flowers in your centerpeices? Are there any alternatives to the typical centerpiece, beyond poinsettias, to make it look more wintery, like candles, etc.?
thanks

I'm not having a winter wedding, but here are some ideas (cause if I wasn't having a summer wedding, I would SO have an Xmas wedding ):
1) You can add pine cones/needles into your centerpiece - I got a 'winter' flower arrangement one year with mini branches of pine trees and it was so lovely (and I love the smell)
2) Red berries (if you go tall you could have them inside the stand or if you go short you can little bunches of them)
3) Whites and reds, or whites and blues. I know it sounds a little Xmasy, but deep reds look awesome for a winter wedding.
I do need to stay away from christmasy decorations b/c FH is jewish. Any other ideas?

Sorry - obviously my Xmas Ideas were not helpful... If you don't want flowers, something like below might look nice. Maybe with some more candles around the base.....
Also I've seen people with those big bare white branchy tree centerpieces - like the ones below but as centerpieces. Those look phenomenal and really go with the winter wonderland theme, but I bet they are expensive
