What are you all using in your centerpieces and bouquets? Are you sticking with flowers that are in season? I keep bouncing back and forth between soft, romantic bouquets of cabbage roses, ranunculus, white mums and dusty miller and a simple but striking bouquet of all anemones. I said flowers weren't important but I am seriously having trouble committing here! LOL

Winter Brides - question about flowers
I used roses are gerberas for my boq's and for the centerpieces I used orchids submerged in the cylinder vases. The prices were good, I'm not sure if they were in season or not.

Winter Brides - question about flowers
I'm using calla lilies because they're in season and they just happen to be one of my favorite flowers. I think they're so classy and beautiful for weddings.

Yes! I have always loved callas too--and your CP's are gorgeous! I had wanted to try to incorporate some color against the navy blue BM dresses, so I was shooting for soft, romantic flowers that I could get in corals, salmons or different shades of pink. But then I started thinking that white anemones could be stunning in the bouquets and might add some old hollywood drama. If I go that route, I would want callas for the CP's--with a boatload of candlelight since it's a night wedding in the winter.
Damn you, pinterest, for helping me to be even less decisive than I already was! LOL

Winter Brides - question about flowers
I think both your ideas sound beautiful! I'm keeping it simple......roses, hydrangea and stephanotis for my bouquet, roses, hydrangea, gold berries and winter greens for the BMs. CPs are a mix- roses, hydrangea, orchids, stock, wax flower and big tall branches.
I think white flowers with hints of peachy-pink and dusty miller will look GORGEOUS, esp with navy dresses.
