Winter (December) engagement photos

We were engaged on the Brooklyn bridge in August but have been way too busy to get around to our engagement shoot since. We're doing it this coming Saturday which is supposed to be a beautiful day in the high 50's. DUMBO would obv. be an optimal location but that doesn't work. Due to the photo session being shot for free by a friend, we'd really like to accommodate her schedule and stay somewhere between the Smithtown area and Queens (as she has to tend to business in the city that evening and will be heading there straight from our shoot). If it helps at all, our wedding is in Sept 2016, there's no said theme- just classic and contemporary. My ensemble for the photo shoot will probably be a long, full, tulle, tea-length(ish) skirt and heels. Any ideas/themes/locations are truly, greatly appreciated.

We took ours in Northport Village. There are areas by the docks, a park setting, and this time of year the village is decorated for Xmas.
