Winter or fall wedding?

Re: Winter or fall wedding?

Def. check with your hall to see if they are putting Christmas trees up and when. I went to a wedding last year the Friday after Thanksgiving and it was a WINTER wedding - the entire hall had chirstmas lights up and even inside the room, they had lit up trees in the windows. It was absolutely beautiful but I really wouldn't consider it fall with the mums and pumpkins. It really depends on when your hall is making that transition so your best bet is to check with them.

I have to say, I am a little jealous because I wanted to get married that day but future hubby preferred October so I said that it was okay. That weddding I went to the day after thanksgiving was sooooo beautiful and romantic with all the lights and christmas trees...

It's technically fall but in people's minds I think it's winter.

I think royal blue and white, maybe with silver would be gorgeous for a winter wedding!

But whatever you like best! You can also use greens, purples, bergundy... I'd just stick to darker colors, no pink or yellow, for example.

i say to just go with the colors you like the best!!! i got married 11/7 .. and i wanted more of a wintery color scheme i guess. I didn't use fall like colors. I did turquoise and black with silver and sparkles! I think it should just be whatever you prefer and whatever makes you happy..regardless of what the season is!!!

Technically it's still a fall wedding.

You can do whatever you want, though...that's the beauty of it being YOUR wedding!!!

I totally agree!
