You could definately use some deep reds or blues for colors.
You do not need to have a theme unless you want one

Hey i'm doing winter as well except mine is Jan 2.
There are so many things you could do in february. You dont necessarily need a theme though.
You could do dark reds to keep with the month of love. I personally am doing a dark silver/charcoal, winter whites and black. I think silver/white is very classy for winter. Also, you could go with light gold tones...like champagne and blush pink.
I looked at lots of wedding reviews to find color options. Also look on 'Real weddings' winter on the knot and you can find tons of pictures and ideas.

I think anything dark or rich would work. I am going with chocolate brown and gold. I just love the combo. Since my colors are brown my wedding will be centered around a chocolate theme. We are having chocolate favors, a candy buffet, chocolate desert...and a bunch of other chocolate stuff that I haven't come up with yet. I don't think you really need a theme unless you want one. I would choose your colors first and see if a theme comes to mind after seeing everything together

I am doing a winter themed wedding. We are doing Royal Blue and white with silver accents for everything. Think snow and cold. icy.
we are also putting winter white branches around the room with twinking lights in them. We will haev blue uplighting with all white CP's. I have silver plate chargers and silver chair bows.

you don't have to do a winter theme unless that's what you want. you can use anything that you like. ice blue is popular for winter weddings though. whatever you end up choosing will be beautiful!
go to google images and type in ice blue wedding or winter wedding etc. you'll be able to get some ideas.

I'm getting married in January and doing a winter wonderland type theme, with the colors being an icy blue, silver and white.
