I'm trying to plan a winter wedding for the first week in December, 2009. Does anyone have any different ideas to go with the theme of a Winter Wonderland? I'd like my cocktail hour to be more Christmas-themed with Carolers and a red/green/silver theme and then to walk into my reception and have it more wintery-white. A theme of white/silver/platinum/ice blue accents. I'm pretty set with some things in my mind, but just looking for some good ideas. How about places? I'm going to look at the Venetian, Flowerfield, East Wind.. Idk where else. Anyone got some new ideas for a newbie on the boards?

I went to the Watermill last winter and they had carolers singing as people walked in. it was very nice and the outside area had white christmas lights

There are centerpices on here that are white twigs with crystals and candles hanging...very winter..search non floral centerpieces and it will come up..i'm new too and don't know how to attach it

As of now we're date twins!
I'm doing something kind of similar. I'm not into the winter wonderland blues and silvers, but I'm doing the richer darker colors, like burgundy and gold. There's tons of threads here for winter wonderland in the theme wedding forum, and just search for winter and christmas and a ton comes up.
If I come across anything good I'll post them for you, but all the stuff I have saved and my own inspiration board doesn't seem to be really what you're looking for.
