Wish bowl

What exactly do you have to do for the wish bowl? Do you put it at the placecard table? I'm confused how it works.

It is my understanding, and what my FI and I plan on donig, that you put the bowl on your 'gift table' or wherever you are going to put that mailbox thingy for gift cards

Oh ok, but what do the guets do? Just write a little something and drop it in the bowl?

Re: Wish bowl

Thats my understading..you can put out small pieces of paper and people will write messages to you, well wishes, and advice and drop it in the bowl. After the wedding, you sit with your husband and read them. THEN, you can put them in an album. I know that there is a book that someone makes (I dont know where to get it though) where you can get teh whole set together...its an album made so that each sheet of paper fits in its own slot. Kind of like a baseball card album. You get me? I will see if I can find the thread that talks about this..gimme a minute

I LOVE the Wish bowl. I am also getting one. In one of my catalogs it has the Well Wisher.
It's a set of course sold seperately but it comes with:
--White cards printed with 'Share a Wedding Wish' on one side and your names and date on the other.
--Glass Vase for guests to place the cards.
--A book to place the cards. Which I think is great.
It also states to place it near your guest book. I guess you can put it where ever you prefer. I think it's such a unique idea. I Love it!!!

THis is a picture of our wishbowl, along with our signing mat and a picture explaining what to do with the wish bowl. We had ours made to match our favors.
