I'm having nothing to do with my shower but I know my mom will have one. I've seen it on invites at the bottom.

I didn't have one, but I have a friend who is having their shower in 2 weeks that will be having one. It just said it at the bottom of the invitation.

my cousin's shower was just 2 weeks ago, and they had a cute poem for the wishing well. They did an ABC wishing well and assigned each invite a different letter, and we had to bring a household item that started with that letter (I had 'z' so i brought ziplock bags and tupperware)

I've also been to one where they had a poem on the invite for an 'around the house' shower, and we were assigned a room of the house to buy an item for- I personally liked the 'around the house' better than the ABC one, only because I thought the ABC would be cute for a baby shower or something lol

My FSIL just had her shower and she planned it. She didn't want a traditional wishing well so she got a box that looked like a HUGE HUGE VS Shopping bag... It was a big hit. I thought it was a gift from someone stuffed with a lot of lingerie.

I just got an invitation for a bridal shower and she is having a lotto scratch-off wishing well, I thought that was really cute!

My mom planned my sister in laws bridal shower and she had one so I'm assuming I would have one. Honestly, I rather people give me cooking recipes since I can't cook!

My brother's gf designed recipe cards and had them printed & sent two with every invite (one for dinner & one for a dessert). Then they bought a matching recipe box from etsy (it had elephants on it )

My mom did a 'wine wishing well.' Everyone was asked to bring a bottle of wine or a wine accessory. I got a TON of wine, wine charms, coasters, chillers, bottle stoppers, etc. Such an AMAZING idea!!

I just went to a shower and instead of a wishig well they had a panty pot. We all brought a panty wrapped in clear cellophane. They didn't make the bride go through the pot in front of everyone, she went through it at home. i thought it was a cute idea to get ready for the honeymoon.

This is amazing!!!! I won't know anything about my shower but I'm sure I'll have a wishing well or something like it, who knows!

I like the idea of a wishing well. My FMIL and FHs grandma will be hosting my shower and they suggested an 'around the house' theme as well, that I loved. Might be doing that, although the 'wine wishing well' sounds pretty amazing!
