Wishing Well Gifts...

Wishing Well Gifts...

My Wishing Well gifts were boring and I have a shower to go to and wanted to put something different.

What do you put in there?

Brides-2-B, what would you like to receive?

I would like things that I hate to buy myself... Such as..

Corn on the Cob holders
Melon ballers
peelers
thermometers

If you go into Bed Bath & Beyond, Go to the whole 'Gadget' wall... They have the XOX brand also...

Hope this helps..

FYI... some brides don't even open the gifts in front of the guests, and I don't think you're supposed to put that it's from you.

That being said... if you still want to do something unique...

maybe you can fill a jar of 'Good Wish' pennies for the bottom of the wishing well? You can write something cute about that jar of pennies for the wishing well representing all the good wishes you have for the bride and groom? something like that...

I put a bottle of Williams Sonoma margarita mix in a wishing well once, knowing my friend LOVES margaritas.

Or you can do a bottle of wine or champagne for the wishing well.

Maybe a small valued Macy's or BB&B Gift Card for the bride to get all the gadgets she didn't receive?

maybe a small gift certificate to the salon she uses for the wedding for a manicure or something.

I dont think that wishing wells are meant to be very exciting. They are just for cute small stuff that every kitchen needs. I love to cook so I love wishing wells, but for people who really are not into cooking it can be pretty boring

I think packs of thank you cards for her to send out after the shower. They always come in handy.

I usually try to find some kind of kitchen gadget that is useful but people dont always think of. One of my faves is a measurer that looks like a shot glass. I agree, look at the kitchen gadget wall at BB&B, they have some unique things
