With just over two months until the wedding and...

With just over two months until the wedding and... we were robbed!! My FMIL gave us money to pay for the rehearsal dinner last Saturday at my shower which she was supposed to drop it off last weekend when she was in for my shower. Well, she 'didn't have a chance' to get to the place and gave me the money after the shower. When I got home, I put it in my sock drawer in FH and I's apartment and when I went to take it out this past weekend only $300 bucks was there!! Someone stole the other $400!!!!!!! Me and FH freaked..tore apart the entire dresser and hamper. We had no one in our apartment all week!! Now when we thought at it, our doorknob was loose and sticking last Tuesday or Wednesday night when we got home from work!! We think our neighbors who have a HUGE mouth told their friends in the complex (who are shady people) and they had something to do with it!!! We're sooooooo pee'd off and are inquiring about an alarm for our apartment now(we live in a co-op). This totally s****... when you think you are ahead something always holds you back!! I feel like I can't trust anyone and ever since am soo unhappy and always on the verge of tears!! Why now???

i'm so sorry. but it seems a little wierd that someone would take 400 and leave 300. If your'e going to rob someone - why not take everything? Maybe your MIL only gave you 300 and will give you the rest later and just forgot????

That's what we said.. but she did give me the full $700. I guess they only needed $400 or didn't see the rest?? It's so strange...
