Witnessed history tonight...

at Yankee stadium when Derek Jeter got his record breaking hit!

It was so awesome to see... I hope everyone had fun at the GTG--- I was going to come, but my Dad surprised FH & I w/ tickets yesterday, and it's hard to say no to a history defining moment lol!

I LOVE Derek!!! He brought tears to my eyes. He truly is the best baseball player of our time, hands down. I wish my children would be able to see him play.

There was at first... there were 2 rain delays though... the game didn't actually start until about 8:40. After DJ got his hit, people actually started trickling out a little.

There was another rain delay at 11:30 and the game didn't start again until 12:40. The stadium was pretty much empty... maybe 2,000/3,000 of us that stayed until the end
