Woke Up with Rotten, Chipping Teeth

This was the worst wedding nightmare by far!!!!!

'It was a couple days before the wedding and the dentist had done a procedure to make my teeth beautiful....but it back fired. My front tooth was chisled so low it looked like a half eaten tic-tac. My inscisor was so thin and brittle that it was cracking and wiggly and almost disintegrating every time I spoke. I was crying so hard saying that I have to push the wedding back and yelling that I paid $5,000 for photography and I wasn't going to NOT smile on my wedding day. My mother was adamant that I continue with the summer solstice wedding, even with 2 missing front teeth. The sensation of them being damaged and cracking was so real.
FH, seeing my absolute despair, suggested that I get temporary veneers and that we would deal with the rest of it after the wedding. I felt relieved with the solution, but still felt incredibly grief over the loss of my teeth.

Then I woke up and felt really f'ing weird. What a morning!!!!!!! Gotta love FH for coming to my rescue...even in my dreams!

fh is great.

i have dreams of teeth breaking all the time. I asked the dental hygenist and said it means i am jealous of someone. I don't know if this is true. Does anyone else know what it means?

When you lose teeth in a dream, it means that you feel like you're losing control of things in your life.

Its so cute that FH saved the day!

Yes, it's actually a pretty common pre-wedding nightmare. In addition to loss of control which is so fitting for how we're all feeling, it also represents feelings of anxiety (which we all have pre-wedding) and worries about our appearance (again-we all have pre-wedding). I had something like this dream the weekend before my wedding. My teeth were just crumbling in pieces and falling out of my mouth. It was horrifying...i felt much better about it though when I found out what it meant because it totally applied to what was going on with me.
