(Wo)man's best friend....

So, I have been thinking about this and I realized I haven't seen any pics of brides with their pets in the pre-wedding/getting ready at home photos. I totally can't imagine NOT getting at least a couple good pics of me and my puppies on the big day (Winston, the english toy spaniel is in my user icon, and Chuck is my 5 pound chihuahua!)!!! I am also planning on buying each of my little men their own tuxedos!


Anyone else planning to take pics with their pets? Or anyone seen pics like this????

Aww! cute idea, but my puppy is so hyper he would probably ruin my dress, lol

I think about this and I want to cry...I won't be getting ready at the house, we'll be out at the hotel near our RH and she'll most likely be at a doggy hotel We're going to take some of our E-Pics with her though...we're so dog obsessed

I have a really cute one of me giving him a kiss and it looks like he has a smile on . I def am going to get a bigger pic made so i can have it around that day. Def glad i have this pic

I am totally doing this. I am getting dressed at my brother house and it is his dog I will have in my pis. He is still a puppy now but once he fully grow , I will get him a tux...

He is a mini boxer/pug

I would love to,but I'll be in NY and my kitty will be home in MD. And as much as I love my spunky little cat, I do NOT trust her around my dress! We keep talking about getting a dog...but I don't know if that will happen before the wedding. I do think involving pets in photos is soo cute. They are our fur babies and a part of our lives!

Aw I'm so sorry but I'm glad you got that pic! I lost my dog last year and was devestated and I wish I could have had him in my wedding as well...

Ugh so sad. So sorry to hear that. Would love to see your pic though. I am sure it is precious. I can't even think of my babies dying........!! But I think part of the reason I want them in my pics is I know they will not be around forever and I love them like they are my children!

I think there are so few pics of pets because most brides don't get ready in their own home. I wouldn't mind getting a shot or two with my kitties.

And that is a good point! My fiance and I do not live together yet (saving money to buy a house after the wedding instead of renting together before the wedding), so the pups are my technically my family dogs. But they are my babies! In fact, the one thing that makes me want to cry when I think about moving out of the house is not having my boys to come home to! I guess FH will have to do... lol

Awwww! I never even thought about this because I am getting ready at my parents house (away from my cats) but now it makes me sad I won't be there!!

The plan is to have a sleepover at my house with my BMs the night before, though, so Maybe we'll grab a couple pics with them before we head over to my mom's!!

OMG I am definently including my fur baby in the wedding pictures!!!! He means soo much to FH and I and the good thing is that we are not getting ready far from eachother so perhaps someone can take him to where he is getting ready quick so the photogapher can take some pics of him and my lil Tomy. I am definently putting him in a nice tuxedo.

I honestly wanted him to be the little ring bearer but dogs are not allowed inside the church . Besides i think he wouldn't allow my mom or anyone enjoy our ceremony since he would want to be in the alter with both me and FH

Absolutely not!! I love my doggy to DEATH but I think he will get wayy to excited with ppl there and all he might pee on my dress or get in the way. He will be staying with my FMIL the night before

I have a maltese and I'm totally buying a little flower girl dog outfit for her and taking pics! haha. She's our baby...how could we not? LOL
