Hi Ladies, I am starting to think about make up artists and wanted to know if any of you have any ideas or have selected someone for make up. I wanted to find someone for a trial for our upcoming epics but I don't think I have enough time for that...

Women of color - make up artist
I would go to a MAC counter at any mall and ask them if they do work on the side or even just try them out for the e-pics. they do your makeup for FREE you just have to buy something like 50 dollars worth of product which is easy to do considering they're not that cheap--but reasonable-you could probably get three products you need to freshen up your look. Either way you get a nice little treat AND I've found they're super skilled in dealing with all types. I've been to Chanel artists, Sephora, Clinique and MAC has by far handled my crazy Latina skin that sometimes resembles that more of an Indian ---better than any of the rest. Hope this helps!!! And let me know how it goes!!!

Thank you! That's actually a really good idea. I'll definitely send an update once I select someone.

Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to say thank you for all of your suggestions
I used Sabrina Gilbert at sabrinagilbertnyc.com at the suggestion of another LI Bride and she was absolutely fantastic. She has a great personality and was really able to capture the look I wanted. I used her to do my makeup for my epics this past Wednesday and I think my makeup turned out beautifully. I'll have pics to share in a couple of weeks.
If you're still looking for a make up artist I recommend giving Sabrina Gilbert a call.
