did anyone else win $250 from LIW? A guy called me from a weird area code 520 # and told me I was one of the 5 winners who won $250 towards invites, flowers, tux's..whatever i want!!

I would email client services ASAP and find out. This is why i get scared abotu the privacy of this site! ugh

that fact that it's to use toward anything, not a certain vendor or something and the weird area code is why it sounds fishy.

WOW that's AWFUL! You got a call a month ago and it was a fake? sheesh! People will do anything to scam you. Were they trying to get your info or something? I mean what's in it for them? They must be trying to trick you into something then right?
I know they have this thing called smishing... which is a text they send to you with a phone number and you call that number and they want your debit card number or other info. It's a scam. They also have it via email, called Phishing. I deal a lot with this sort of thing bc of my job.

I got a call like that months ago and it was basically a scam to one of those big wedding world places! I doubt they actually give you a discount at all because they just up the prices to begin with.

This guy was trying so hard to convince me into giving him personal info on the phone. I asked for a number to call him back at and all he did was hang up on me !!!!!!! Real nice of him ! I don't trust anyone that calls here and says that they want my personal information !

I got a call from a guy too...for a $200 discount...it's for services provided by Wedding World over in Commack...I went just to check it out but wasn't overall impressed with things.

Nope! And no one ever should! That should always be the first sign! no company will ever call, email, or text for any sort of personal information.
