Won't be posting for a bit....going in for surgery tomorrow

Hi ladies, you're like my second family so I figured I could share with you that I'm having surgery tomorrow. I probably won't be on the boards too much. After today I will be off until Monday.

I do have a question though. Has anyone had to call the hospital the day before to find out when their surgery is scheduled? I have to call today for tomorrow and I'm not sure when to call (afternoon, evening, night...)

And to answer your question (I recently had surgery) I never had to call the hospital to see when I was scheduled, since I knew I had to be there a few hours ahead of time for my 12 noon time. Based on what time you think you might be having it done, I would call the night before or first thing in the morning maybe?

I had to call to confirm at New Island two year ago. I called the morning before, because my procedure was to be done first thing in the a.m.

Ok, I called the hospital. They won't have the listing of surgeries until 4pm then they will begin making phone calls. If I don't hear from them by 7:00 then I can call them.
