Erica - it has nothing to do with being treated well. They are mostly religious holidays and all but one day falls on weekdays this year
Of course this will mean working late a couple of days or maybe even a Sunday but we really lucked out this year and I am not complaining!
Of course DH & I have plans for the week before the 6 day weekend I have in May and the 3 - 4 day weekends in October. We are going to have to move something around. There's no reason to use all my precious vacation days when I don't really have to.

We only get one because the owners of my company are Orthodox Jewish and we close for several holidays but they fluctuate with the calendar.

We don't all get the day off for the Jewish Holidays, just the 2 partners that are Jewish take off.
