We're working with Dominik. I loved him. He was really funny and nice. I was so excited when we looked at the place...I had checked out 10 other places in one weekend!! This was the last one we saw and I fell in love. We booked the garden room. What room are you in?

Re: woodbury bride
I'm in the mills room. We were going to choose the garden room, but since our wedding is in March, we don't know what the weather will be like. We wanted to have the cocktail outside cause if not they cut up the garden room and have part of the cocktail on one side and the receptipon on the other. We didn't like that. I am working with Patricia, but I've spoken to Dominic. He is funny. Are you having a church ceremony. I am trying to look for churches in the area. I've heard of a St. Dominics in oyster bay, but can't find it online. It shows another that is ugly. Do you know of any?

I'm in the garden room with the outside cocktail hour, and the was one of my concerns...cause we are expecting about 300 ppl and i knew splitting the room wouldn't work for us if it rains....so...they said if it rains or is freezing...an additional tent will be put up with heaters all over...so i'm comfortable with that answer

I'm having my ceremony there as well. In fact I'm kinda hoping that no one books for a ceremony on the same day cuz then I can have the ceremony on the other side (over the pond)...but I love the garden too so either way I'd be happy.

I like that they have the tent --it kinda puts my fears of rain to rest cuz we can still be outside

that was one of my biggest fears....i didnt want to book a place with no options because if it rains i didnt want everyone to be squished and uncomfy...im trying to plan so that the weather (the one thing i can't control) will not ruin my spirits (although im getting married so i dont think much can dampen my mood that day!!!!)

Re: woodbury bride
Yea, it was hard to decide. I read a bridal review on this place and she got to have her cocktail in the garden room and the reeption in the mills which they told me they could not do cause it was booked. Too bad. We love the view though. We are having our ceremony in a church. Either close to where we live or around woodbury. If you know of any churches let me, I keep on coming up short. I think I have to drive around and just check out the area.
Have you looked at the florist or other vendors on their list. I think I want to talk to them soon.
