anybody have any idea what a saturday night reception wld cost at these 2 places? we r goin for an appointment on sunday but i was just wondering for now cause sunday is so far away lol!!!

we checked out larkfield manor, we liked it.. but weren't thrilled with it. They were in our price range, which is $U90/pp. I don't remember details though or the month we looked into because we're flexible with the date.
Their extras look cool. cotton candy machine, candy apples.. mmmm.
Just to warn you, it doesn't look the same in person as it does online and in magazines. Don't get me wrong, it was our #2 for a while.. but it was just too narrow of a room... and I always wanted a square room. = )

I was looking into larkfield but decided against it for one reason. I want my ceremony outside and when I looked at pics online of their outdoor ceremonies, I saw a big 7-11 sign in the background of the bride and grooms pic. Just didn't fit the ambiance I was going for. This is just my opinion and don't mean to offend anyone. I heard great things about the food there though. If I wasn't having an outdoor ceremony, it would definitely be an option for me.

I think the deal fell through at the Woodbury. I went there last week and they said they are booking well into 2010 now. I am guessing with the economy it might have changed things for now. I know they booked a May 2010 date while I was having my food tasting. I couldn't hear everything but he reassured them that it has been rumors from day one. I don't know much. I love it there so I hope they never tear it down!

Oh and on the Larkfield. I love it there! I went to 2 weddings there. The filet is by far the best steak I have ever had at a wedding. The Viennese hour there is totally amazing!!! I think either choice you have are both great! There is a MAJOR difference in price between the two though!
