woodbury Country club

Would anyone by chance has the going rate per plate for the Woodbury Country Club for a Saturday Evening or Sunday Evening in 2010.

Also do they require working with any of their in house vendors.

Thanks for the help.

i'm sorry i can't be of help, but when i visited there back in april/may they were not yet taking 2010 dates (i think they might be renovating?)

i have no idea what the rate is but no, they dont require working with house vendors. If you dont use house vendors you have to have your vendor provide their insurance certificate to them or something along those lines...also they feed the house vendors for free

Not sure if this is true, but someone on here (a while back) wrote that WCC is not booking anythng after 2009 because they will no longer be in the same location after next year. I heard that they want to expand and the propert owners will not allow it, so they are taking the name elsewhere (don't know where though). I got married there and it was amazing...I recommend asking them about their new location bc the company was wonderful!

I heard through a very reliable source that Wodbury CC is closing. That is why they are not taking any 2010 bookings. Condos are going there.

ITA. I got married at WCC this past November and they were absolutely amazing. As for house vendors, nope there is no requirement there - we used all 'outside' vendors and it was no problem.

Wow I hope it's not so because I was really planning on seeing it next weekend, because I have heard nothing but good things so far.

Any recommendations. Im really having a hard time choosing reception halls. I don't want a hall that's going to lock me into using their vendors, or cut out half the menu when I ask to lower the price.

I booked WCC and I've had nothing but a good experience so far. I also heard that they were closing down..but you definitely should inquire about them moving maybe you could follow.. as far as pricing they are average..85, 95, 110..Depending on the night. And they do allow outside vendors.. Good Luck

They are renovating in 2010. They should be done toward the middle of 2010 they said, but they are not taking reservations until the renovations are done bc they're not COMPLETELY sure when they are going to finish.
