woodbury country club??

does anyone have info on this venue? reviews? pricing?

FH and I are trying to wind down our RH search, but i keep thinking of new spots and wondering if its worth the trip to add one more to the list.

any feedback (especially regarding FOOD and BUDGET) is appreciated!!!!

WCC has changed it is now W Events they still do bookings but I believe the actual location where they are at now,they won't be at next year. When I spoke with them over the phone they said they will be booking at different venues like mansions, NYC lofts, and vineyards. Everything sounded really great and they were real excited about the change.


It all sounded good, FH and I didn't want the worry of going with a company going through such big changes. that was our only concern....

they are not closing!!!! they arent taking bookings for 2010 though. Client services even made a post about that false rumor.

And depends on the day you want. Im paying 85pp for Sat afternoon, i know sat night its like 115pp. Sunday i think it was 75pp.

the food is great and so is the atmosphere. We went for our tasting when a wedding was going on so they gave us some food from coctail hour and it was soooooo good.
We fell in love with it we got the downstairs garden suite.

There was an article in Long Island Business News in November 2008. I'd consider that a pretty reputable source.

My wedding was at WCC.

We marrried the last weekend in march. WE had it on a friday night and paid a great price. I'll FM you details.
I love them!!!
I spoke to my BM and she said they aren't closing, they're expanding. so might be relocating if anything

Our reception is at WCC on August 2, 2009. We went at the end of January to make another payment, and asked about the whole closing/ remodeling/ townhouse news that has been floating around, since I was concerned about how that would affect our day. We had booked in late July, and had no idea there were any plans in the works.
We were told that as of the week before (mid january) the townhouse plans were put on hold, given the economy. We were also told that they are as of now accepting bookings through June of 2010. We were reassured that everything would be perfect, nothing is going to change, etc. I felt better after we left. However, I would ask alot of questions if you decide to check them out and book anywhere near June 2010.
