Has anyone been to a wedding at this venue, booked it or planning to have their wedding at Woodbury Country Club? I would love to hear your feedback as my fiance and I are torn between a couple of venues we visited.

FBIL got married there and it was a great party.... personally, i didn't want a venue with more than one wedding. They got married in December, however, if it was a summer wedding that outside area would be amazing and i would have a nice party there in the summer if the opportunity arose...for my wedding i just wanted something different!!
the food was good and the service for the bridal party was great! they were accommodating too for me because i was sick the entire night! :( but it was a great time.
however, i do know that they came in about 60 people under their minimum...they wouldn't throw in anything extra for them in place and they paid for those 60 empty spots and didn't get any of those 60 plates to take home and were quite upset about it because they were told they would but never ended up happening!
My FH & I felt the same way. We didn't want any pork on the menu and the BM would not substitute vegetarian dishes in its place. It was just taken off the menu altogether. But the outside is beautiful and we liked the size of the Mills reception room, the bathrooms and bridal suite.

One of my close friends got married there in June. The service was great as well as the food. The treated the wedding party wonderfully and the vh hour is the best I've ever seen. She did have the big room which gave her access to the pool area...I could see how it may be a turn off if your in the smaller room and not able to use the outside area. Just have to say, although they have 2 parties at once we never once saw the other wedding guests. hth :)

same!!! the wedding i attended they kept us separated by one floor the entire night- even with guests walking around and they did a nice job having 2 weddings there at a time! :)

Did anyone see Woodbury Country Club on 'Four Weddings' today? I figured that was the venue based on the cocktail hour and location. And ironically, that bride won for best wedding due to the venue choice and her dress. I think the bride was Greek. ;o)

Beautiful place, great service and food! had my wedding there! check out my pics in you need. I had the pool area and lucked out with being the only wedding there that night. (sunday night).

We just booked at woodbury for 5/30/14. We're in the lower room so we'll have access to the pool area all evening..love the grounds! We were able to taste the food since we booked while they were preparing for a wedding...food was amazing!!!! We clicked so well with joe...he brought out a bottle of crown royal (my fh fav drink) when we arrived lol.

Awesome Girlfriend! ^5! I know you're soo happy the stress is over finding a venue. Woodbury is a nice venue. It has that South Beach feel outside. Next up... DJ's, Videographer, Photographer. LOL It can be stressful at times but I think it's fun planning a wedding. ;o) Congrats!

Congrats!!! I'm 2 weeks before you in the same room..we immediately loved the grounds as well!! Joe is amazing!! We took Patron shots with him when we booked LOL

Hi there, We booked the WCC for our upcoming wedding for 6/1/14. Anthony was our point of contact and he is truly amazing! I higly advise for you to go through Anthony, he is reasonable and an overall great guy, and is truly willing to do everything in his power to make your day special! In terms of WCC, its absouletly gorgeous. The grounds are nice, you have the outside aspects as well as the fancy reception area which was just recently renovated. I would highly suggested getting a tour around the place and ask for Anthony! Best, Annette
