Woodbury country Club and Food Tasting

To all past and present Woodbury Country Club brides, do you know if they have food tastings? If so, does anyone know when they normally schedule it? Do they normally do it during the menu selection meeting or is it during a different day entirely? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, I was just curious if this is something I have to request.

I'm getting married there and went to a food tasting a couple of months ago. When I called to schedule it, they set it up so that we came during another wedding's cocktail hour....that way we could try everything.

We were in our own private room and they brought everything to us...including any drinks that we wanted.

The food was amazing!

My tasting was similar. They set up a time and we sat at a table and tasted lots of yummy cocktail hour food and had a few drinks. It was great! They also had a showcase that we went to after we booked that was basically a cocktail hour with an open bar. So, really, you could do either or both-have a private tasting and find out when/if they are having a showcase soon.

We had our wedding there and we scheduled the tasting and then right there after we ate, we signed the contract.

When we scheduled our tasting at WCC, they asked us to come before another wedding/function was to take place so we could sample the food that was being prepared for that event.

We didn't do an actual tasting, we went to a cocktail party they had for future couples and signed the contract that night. The set up was impressive and the food was great.
