Woodbury country club brides...

Can you please share some of your thoughts and experiences with me on the club...I have a friend who is going to look at the place this weekend for her wedding.

What impressed you about it - what kind of food do they have - and anything else you want to share.

I think WCC was the 7th place I looked at and then I fell in love with it. I love the grounds, I already went for the tasting and it was amazing (especially the chateau briand), our BM was nice and friendly (he left and the new BM is nice too), even though there are 2 weddings at one time, you are totally separated the whole time. The Woodbury Country Club made my wedding day a dream come true. From the time we first visited them, to the time we signed, to the time we finalized our menus, they were incredible and very easy to work with.

Peter was our Banquet Manager and he was a doll! The staff there was wonderful and my reception was amazing.

We arrived very early and they were right there to receive us. We took all our formals there and the grounds were immaculate. We had the garden room and the cocktail hour was outside on the patio by the reflecting pool.

The food was excellent and I did not hear any complaints from anyone. At the end of the night, they boxed up any extra favors, cleaned my cake knife set, boxed up the top of my cake and gave us a bottle of champagne.

I don't have one negative thing to say about them. My July 4th, 2003 wedding was incredible!

I'm bumping this thread to ask if anyone has any further comments about Woodbury CC. I went there today to meet with a BM and LOVED IT. It seems like everyone has positive things to say about it. I want to hear all the good and all the bad before I decide if I want to book there. So anyone who knows anything about it, please spill to me :)

FYI:
we're planning for may 28, 2006 (sun eve)
we're looking at 200-300 guests
we're having a jewish wedding (including ceremony)
they only have the downstairs (garden) room available for us on that date
