My mom was just checking out Woodbury Country Club today and she was told that they were not accepting 2010 receptions. Does anyone know what's going on? Rennovations maybe? Or are they just not booking that far in advance? I really like it there and I'd be pretty bummed my date wasn't available due to construction.

Is this the hall that is closing? I thought I remembered seeing a post that said they were only booking through 2009 - do a search.

They are closing! I think they may be building condos there but I am not sure.

I believe they are moving to a new location. Same catering hall, different location. But they won't be open until sometime in 2010 so they won't be taking new bookings until they're sure.

Thanks for letting me know. Ouch, I don't know how comfortable I'd be booking a brand new place like that. Guess it's back to square one for me!

I'm getting married there this summer. They are not closing they are moving to a larger location because they are not allowed to expand the hall on their grounds.

I thought so too. I saw pictures on this forum that were fairly recent of new WCC renovations.

Yup I was there last week and it was new paint & carpet from the last time I was there a few months ago. Even though they are moving they are continually refreshing the place. It seems like they take a lot of pride in thier hall. I couldn't be happier with them!
