Has anyone had a ceremony or is planning to have one on the gazebo with the deck over the water or the gazebo by the pool? Why? I have attached two pictures to give a visual idea.
I am just trying to decide and I really need help with it.
One more question: How much time is spent in the outdoors as opposed to the reception hall for the guests? Could the reception also partly take place outdoors? Could more time be spent outdoors of the grounds than indoors?
If spending outdoors is only for a short time, then it probably may not matter the location of the ceremony, right?
Please help!! Thanks!!!

Re: Woodbury country club, question
Hi,
My ceremony will be held at the gazebo on the pond, in April. (Hopefully, if it's not too cold!) If not, then it will be held inside. It will only be 1/2 hour long, which I think is perfect, even if it's a little chilly, my guests should be able to stand it for that long. Woodbury told me that if it's too cold, or rainy, then my ceremony would take place inside, in the room off the entrance on the ground floor.
I chose the gazebo, because it is abreathtakingly beautiful, and romantic spot. Especially at night, due to the lighted water fountains surronding the gazebo. My ceremony is at 7:30 p.m., and I can't wait to see the pond all lit up. At 7 - 7:30 p.m. is my hospitality suite, inside for my guests before the ceremony.
One of the reasons I chose Woodbury CC is b/c the inside ceremony areas are just as beautiful as the outside ones. (Not to mention the food is to die for!) So even if the weather did not permit an outdoor ceremony, I would be OK with it being indoors instead.
I hope I helped out in some way. Feel free to FM me if you have any more questions.

Re: Woodbury country club, question
Good, because it's a beautiful place, and the people there are really nice too.
If you haven't already, go for a food tasting. The food there is scrumptious! If that doesn't convince you to book, I don't know what will.
