Woodbury or Jericho

Woodbury or Jericho

Girls...
I need your help!

My FH and I are from Russian Jewish families and we LOVE to party and get drunk! (not me of course, i'm the bride!)

anyway, we narrowed our choices to Woodbury CC and JT. At first we were thrown towards JT because of the gorgeous Dome Room. But then we saw Woodbury and fell in love with the whole Outside Ceremony and cocktail hour around the pool thing.
Our wedding will be in June 2009 so an outside wedding would be perfect.

The food at Jericho is also perfect and unlimited alcohol which is a HUGE plus. BUT we have to be outta there by 2:30 am. And most of the weddings we go to all end around 4..5..am

The good thing about Woodbury is that we can stay as late as we want and we can bring in our own caterers. We calculated all the costs for drinks/food and it would be pretty much the same for woodbury and jericho. (around $220-240pp)

Again back to Jericho, they seem much more organized because we will using their full menu and everything.

I feel that at Woodbury, if we bring in our own food and drinks, the Woodbury waiters wont be as attentive.

Needless to say.. I NEED ADVICE HERE!!!!

Since the price is the same, I would say go wth Woodbury because1 I love the outside area and 2 you can go as late as you need to

I really cant comment either way as I dont know how either place is, but .. wow... 220-240 pp??? For some reason, that seems a bit high to me... I can see those prices for like someplace liek oheka, but JT and WCC???

I would go with Woodbury if you want an outside wedding. The outside at woodbury is perfect for an outside wedding.

I would go to woodbury country club. I loved the outside theme and you can deff party all night

i was thinking the same thing about the prices... it just seemed kinda high for those two places.. I would go with Woodbury too because if the prices are the same.. then go where you can stay the latest!

well i would go with woodbury only because i booked there for the same date you want! yay!! lol id be leaving as you'd be comming in lol! same room, bottom with the outside coctail hour...how awsome is that especially the carribean theme you can do....if you choose there we will have to stop and say hi in passing!!! good luck choosing!!!

I would say go with Woodbury. You have the opportunity to bring in your own caterer and you have the choice of food you would liked served down to the last detail. Whereas, other venues would not give you that much control. JMO

Keep in mind, Jericho Terrace does NOT have an outdoor cocktail hour. Just that small area when you pull into the lot for pictures. So if you're having a June wedding and want to be outdoors.... just something to think about.

What time is your party over then? our ceremony will probably start around 7:30

The price of Oheka is starting from $350 i think...
We just need the most of EVERYTHING. thats why it's coming out to be that much. We are putting in alot of extras like lobster station, cigar bar, etc.
