Wooden Flower Bouquets!

Wooden Flower Bouquets!

I hate the idea of spending $$$$$ on flowers for the wedding day that are going to wilt and die so I was determined to find an alternative. At first I was going to go with pre-preserved flowers but they are expensive and very limited in options. So i kept looking and discovered wooden flowers that look real and are scented like real flowers, come in pretty much any color you could want and are affordable.

For anyone in search of a unique alternative you have to check them out! Wood Flowers

The owner Karinne handles all the weddings herself and is so sweet and helpful. She even sent me a sample bouquet with differnt flowers and colors.

Heres a picture of a bouquet from her site

When you got your sample you really couldn't tell that it was wood? How much was the sample?

yes they really are wood!

They are very light because they are made of some form of pressed wood shavings.

As for how real they look, you will notice because you will be very close to them but other people and pictures will see them as real. Overall I feel they look more real than silk but from up close you can ntell they are not 100%natural.

She sent me the samples for no charge and even picked up the shipping. This may have been because there was an email problem where her town had lost power when I sent my first mail to her and it was never recieved at first but she didnt say so, so there is a good chance they are free or next to.

Pricing I think is great espescially because they dont need to be preserved. The most expensive is the brides bouquet that has 4 dozen flower and is $175 My MOH is getting 2 dozen and its $60 bridemaids are 1 1/2 dozen and are $45
Mother and grandmothers are getting 3 flower corsages that are $11.50 FH's Boutonniere is 2 flowers and is$5.75 and GM, fathers and grandfathers are all $4.
I know that my prices are slightly lower than her base( by a dollar or 2 on most small things things and maybe like 5 or so on the BM's) because I am ordering a bunch.

Overall I am getting 5 bouquets , 5 corsages, and 8 Boutonnieres for about $500

FM me if you have any other more specific questions!
