Hello- Checked out woodlands for my venue in December and loved it but then heard bad reviews from people who have been to christmas parties there (i.e. poor service, bad valet, bland food, melted ice cream). I was so disappointed to hear bc I had a good feeling about it as a possible venue. Does anyone have any input either as bride or guest? Also I was concerned cocktail hour could be squishy for 175??
I had my wedding there last month and it was absolutely perfect. My guests are still raving about the food and the venue, so many people had never been there or even heard of it! I very highly recommend them, having the venue to ourselves for our wedding and being able to personalize it made it so unique. The staff and service were all you would want. I had 230 people and had a summer wedding so was able to utilize the outside for the cocktail hour but even having the outside the inside felt spacious with that many people. The ballroom was more than fine as well. I wish you the best of luck but can say you will be happy should you choose The Woodlands!
I was there as a guest for a party. The venue itself is gorgeous but the food I had was meh. I would ask to do a tasting before you book.
My friends got married there in Dec, two years ago I think...I thought it was beautiful and the food was delicious!
