Woodlands Brides

Good News! The landscaping is being done! Yippie!

Hi Woodlands Brides. I'm getting married this June and I am very excited. I visited there recently and saw that the parking lot area in front of the entrance has been torn out... I guess for new landscaping. The parking area is owned by the Golf Course. It's been like this for a few weeks already. I'm assuming the Town of Oyster Bay golf course will be replacing this any day now. But just to have peace of mind, do any of the Woodlands brides know what's going on, or when it will be complete. Thanks.

I haven't been there in a while so I am not sure. Did u ask Maureen?

June is a pretty popular month for golfing so I would presume that they would fix the parking lot for golfers.

I called the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course today and they said it will be done well before our June 11 wedding. I'm a little concerned that it may not get done, but there's nothing I can do about it so I'll just have to pray for the best.

What the heck is going on there? First the restaurant and now this. I can understand renovating but geez.

I'm getting married before you and I know someone who is getting married there this weekend!

I think it will definietly get done soon.
This is prime season for golfing and wedding season too.

Plus - if they just renovated the restaurant then they are going to want to finish the parking lot too.

But I am going to : that is gets done ASAP

I was just there a little bit ago and they have decided to re-do the lots and in the front hopefully put in new trees with the possibility of putting those white lights in the trees! They also put in a water fountain in the center of that cul-de-sac where the valet parking is! I heard that the trees should be put in soon enough...they just finished 'cultivating' or tearing up the ground there to plant them....HTH!!

I went to a communion at the Woodlands this weekend and got to see Maureen. (I love her!!) I asked her and she said that it is supposed to be finished within the next two weeks. She did say that they don't really have control over it though, because it is the Town of Oyster Bay that is doing it. She did seem confident that it would be done soon, though.
