Does anyone have any recommendations for a good photographer to use at The Woodlands? I have appointments with a bunch already but I feel like I need to narrow them down or it will get too confusing. Thanks!

Try Imagine Studios, I know they have worked at the Woodlands a bunch of times and I love their work.

Not sure which style you want or what you are looking for in a package but Photography In Style has is awesome. They have are less traditional, which I like and they have decent prices.

Re: Woodlands Brides
Didn't they give you a list of ones they recommend? If you use their vendors, you can get points toward upgrades. I ended up not using one of their photogs though because I had heard such amazing things about Duet on LIW and met with them and LOVED them so that's who we are using this June.

Yes, they gave me a list of their vendors. I made appointments with **************, Grey Studios and Sherwood Triart. I also have appointments with Marquee, Jeffrey Studios and ********. So overwhelmed already. I love Sherwood Triart's work from what I saw at a showcase but have a feeling they are going to be out of our price range.

Re: Woodlands Brides
That is one of the most annoying things. For different reasons, LIW locks out certain vendors...it may be because they've had a complaint or because they are not recommended by them. The bottom line is most girls will spell out with spaces vendors they know won't show up so for example, if Duet wasn't allowed you could say D U E T.
One really helpful thing I found on the site is if you do Search and then any of the major vendors and it will pull up a ton of feedback all in one place since brides tend to ask the same questions over and over as new brides come in and others have their big day. That's how I found out about Duet . As for the recommended vendors with Woodlands, we did book Royalty limo - they've been great to deal with btw.

we also booked duet after meeting several of the woodlands recommended vendors. we liked several of the recommended photogs but never found one we LOVED. We went to duet and knew they were 'the one'. they have also done a lot of work at the woodlands...their pics at the woodlands i have seen are beautiful so i am fully confident in them.

Re: Woodlands Brides
My wedding at the Woodlands is on 7/31/10 and I want to start looking at photographers as well. I am going to start with the list the Woodlands provided. I want to try Marquee, ********, and Patken. I also heard good things about Glenmar.
Any tips on finding a DJ for The Woodlands? They recommend a few but I haven't heard of most of them. I want to have some kind of screens set up for a slide show and I want a DJ that knows the room well since it is somewhat narrow.
Can't wait to start planning!!!

I fell in love with Grey after seeing all the samples in their studio from the Woodlands! They also have a great reputation - they rely on talent not technology, exactly what I was looking for.

Re: Woodlands Brides
I thought the Woodlands vendors were all very pricey...I went with TJ from Duet who has done many weddings there. He did our engagement shoot already and the photos came out gorgeous.

Re: Woodlands Brides
Definitely check out Patken. I almost booked with Duet but after I met with Patken they offered me more for less.
