Woodlands Brides - Past and Present

Just wondering if anyone can give me some reviews on the food and the cake. I know they do the cakes in-house and i've been hearing so many horror stories about other venues and their in-house bakers, so I wanted to get some feedback. We're going to a showcase in October to try the food but thats the first time we'll be trying it.

I also booked without tasting the food. I went to the last bridal show there and what I had was really good. I know people who have been to weddings there and the food is always the first thing they rave about. I don't know about the cake though.

I went to the bridal show there and the food was awesome. I also have visited several times right before a wedding and it smells so good. As far as the cake, we aren't huge fans of buttercream so we may pay the upgrade fee for whipped cream or fondant. Not sure yet...they have an awesome baker though - all of their other desserts were awesome when we tried them so I am thinking the cake will be no different. They also have so many flavors to choose from...I wouldn't be worried! :)

i was married at the woodlands last month and the food and cake were to die for...absolutely out of this world. you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
