My agency is having a gala at the woodlands tomorrow!
it will be a cocktail reception...

yayyy have fun!!! I just went to the showcase last week and got to eat some of the hor dourves (sp?) and the drinks! If they have a chocolate martini, make sure to try one! I don't really know what a cocktail reception is. Is it just passed hors dourves? If not, could you let us know how the rest of the food is? thanks so much Christina! Have fun!

i think it is a lot of passed stuff and then stations?? its much more informal apparently-no assigned seating...
i know someone donated a dessert table so that should be fun! hehe

ooo that sounds cool! If you wouldn't mind telling me how the stations are....we didnt get to see those! This was the one thing I was worried about - that there wouldn't be enough on the stations, so if you wouldn't mind just letting me know if ppl think its enough food. Enjoy the desserts! The cannoli cream is out of this world!

do u all know if the delano mansion is separate from the woodlands and on the property and how many people it holds?

its on the 2nd floor of the RH, but it has a separate entrance. If you're looking at the mansion from the front, you'd go in the front door for the woodlands and you'd go to the right thru a separate door for the delano mansion. I'm not exactly sure how many ppl it holds, I want to say that I remember the BM said it holds 50, but there was also an outdoor patio and another room, so maybe more.
