After a very long weekend I think I found THE venue that best fits us- the woodlands at woodbury. Does anybody have any positive/negative experiences here or quotes to make sure we are getting the most bang for our buck.

One of FH's family friends is getting married there in August. I believe she said she's paying $130pp... somewhere in that ballpark. I can't remember if it's a Friday or Saturday night.. the STD is at FH's house.

We went to a wedding there last year. It rained so we didn't get to really enjoy the patio space during cocktail hour. I'm not sure how many people they had (probably over 200) but it was crowded in the reception room - chair backs hitting each other. I think there was only one bar too - definitely see if they can add another, that crowd had big drinkers and there was a line all night.

Overall though a very nice place, i think it just depends on how many people because of the shape of the room. I know a few people who have gotten married there and absolutely loved it.

I just got married there! Read my review; with pictures. The venue is amazing! We had 167 people. The room is huge. My guests were obsessed.

Great to hear!!! Hopefully she can add some extras in for us to make us feel better about the place :). But we do love it- it's so gorgous!!
