Re: Woodmere Club
Its a wonderfull place with good food, pretty atmosphere, and nice service.
In answer to a former posting of yours, the Royalton food and service, in my opinion far exceeds the Woodmere Club's. At the Royalton there is a sense of privacy and professionalism that can't be compared!

Re: Woodmere Club
I've been to 4 Royalton events in the last 2 years, and 3 at of 4 were over 200 people. The only one I found tight was around 250 people. The others I thought were perfect. The dance floor due to the all wood floors was quite large. I know some other LI brides have been to larger weddings at the Royalton with all great reviews! Give it a look when they're set up with a party the same size as yours and judge for yourself. Its an amazing place!

I had 200 people at my wedding at the Royalton, and there was more than enough space. I would agree that 250 would make it tight, but I would say if you have up to 225-230 you won't feel it!

Re: Woodmere Club
I also looked at Woodmere before booking the Royalton. Woodmere was more expensive and they cannot do outside ceremony or cocktail hour because of the loud planes flying overhead. I hear the weddings are very nice there but I also didn't like the cocktail hour having to be split in different rooms and using the lobby to set up food.
