The rewards I have you can hand in your points whenever you want. I know they are starting a new one soon I am not sure exactly how that works. I just go to the chase rewards website and it tells you how many points you have and then you pick what you want. I usually wait until I get to 18,000-20,000 points before I order giftcards.

I love rewards thing from credit cards and banks. I use the Chase Freedom credit card and you get a percentage of cash back on what you spend. If you wait until your cash back rewards is up to $200 you can get a check for $250! That is $50 extra free dollars just for waiting to claim your reward. I have done it probably like 4 times already. So I have received $1000 just for spending money I would have spent anyway!

I just have the debit credit card. I should look into applying for that card. Thats a pretty good deal!

I have the debit card also from Chase but the credit card is such a better deal as long as you can budget your money good. You don't want to overuse your credit card and if using a debit card limits you better than I would say keep the debit. But if you are good with credit cards I would absolutely look into it.
