I hopped, skipped, and jumped over a couple of bridges and went to NJ to order my gown. I walked into the store, told the woman what I wanted, and walked out 5 minutes later with my gown paid for and on order! And because I went to NJ, there was NO SALES TAX! It will take 12-14 weeks to come in. I can't wait! One more thing checked off the list and the only thing completely paid for!

Mikeysgirl - it's a knockoff of a Lazaro dress. I know the Lazaro dress is over $3000. Mine is $950.

Re: Woohoo! Ordered my wedding dress!
Mirla, I actually tried the dress on at a David's Bridal in San Antonio when I was visiting my sister. I knew that was the one that I wanted and knew the style number. I live in Queens right by the Throgs Neck Bridge, so it wasn't really too far for me to travel to NJ (Paramus). The traffic sucked, but that's not unusual. I would have gone to the Carle Place store if not for the negative things I've heard about it (especially the flea thing).
I'm sure if you took a picture of the dress to a dress maker, they could make you one almost exactly like it for far less money. Good luck!
ETA: you can always see if there's anything on David's Bridal's website or in the store that is similar to your dress.
