I couldn't believe it even got that close. You know what's the best about this game, the Yankees made them use their bullpen. And since Pedro can't go more then 100 pitches it could be a rough night tomorrow night for Boston.

I was so shocked and dismayed that Boston ever got back into the game .... thank God ![]()
we were able to hold them at 7 runs and they added 2 more ourselves!!! ![]()
As Jen said, the best aspect of beating them up early and them having to take Schilling out so early was that they exhausted their bullpen. That definitely gives us an even bigger advantage over Pedro tonight![]()
Mussina was awesome, wasn't he? I felt so badly when he lost the perfect game and then went on to give up some runs.![]()
Schilling was definitely not 'on his game' .. His ankle was bothering him from what I've been hearing and reading...which was only in OUR favor, of course![]()

At least Mussina got the win!!I feel like he is always a victim of no run support, even if he pitches well! Like Game 1 against the Twins! I always feel bad for him....so glad he did great last nite and got the win!

Definitely right about Moose... he IS always a victim or lack of run support, even when he pitches well. I am definitely happy he got the win. When they took him out of the game, in the dugout he looked so upset and dejected
I DEFINITELY THINK we are gonna go 2-0 tonight! We have proven we can beat up on PEDRO , and the Sox' bullpen was exhausted last night

I'm really glad Moose got the win also. I feel bad for him that he got hit so much after he lost the perfect game though. It was as if he was devastated by losing another bid.
I think tonight's game will be close. Pedro will be out after 6 innings and then the Sox bullpen will allow a couple of more runs. I could see the final score being 6-4, Yanks on top of course.
Did anyone else hear that Schilling might not be able to start game 5? He's questionable at this point.

Yes! I read that in the Daily News! He says if his ankle is still bothering him by Game 5, he absolutely will not pitch!!
