FH just went last week. This is his second time. I went years ago. They have wifi, so bring your laptop! Otherwise, it gets pretty boring.

jury duty is fun. just talk to all the random strangers there.. they let some freaks into jury duty

i went yesterday and it was horrible! i wouldnt mind at all if i did get picked bc i def think it would be interesting if i was part of a jury..but i hateee the whole process of waiting to see if you are picked...im the type of person that needs to be on the go and to sit there for hours and hours drove me crazy!

I went once, got picked for a jury and was an alternate...Long story short I got locked in the 'alternates room' with this really creepy old guy who did jury duty for fun and he kept trying to feed me pistacchio muffins...Forever scarred...

Just keep your fingers crossed they call your jury # early on in the day...Sitting in that big room is sooo boring and the seats are majorly uncomfortable...

Portable dvd player is a good idea...When i went there were alot of people knitting and reading books...
Oh, and they make you watch a stupid video on 'importance of being selected fro jury duty'....gag me with a spoon...worst thing ever to sit through lol

i got called and ended up being selected for a criminal trial...it lasted about 2 weeks and i hated every second of it.
